Saturday night at Acescracked - finished second to Penn and manged to keep about a 450 point lead. Sundays Hundred Grand game sucked - finished four thousand and something - rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. Today however, has been a different story.
Started this morning with a bank of $64.00 and change - First $10 SNG resulted in a second place finish, Second $10 SNG resulted in another second place finish, third $10 SNG was a bust. Took a break, came back a few hours later and took first on a $20 SNG - bank now at $163.87...
Another $10 SNG Monday resulted in nothing but a lower roll. No play until last night when I got in a 70 FPP satellite for Sundays $100,000 on PS..First place and a seat in the game ![]()
After that, I got in a $10 eighteen seat SNG and took second for $54.00....
This morning I get in a $6.50 18 seat SNG - second hand and on the BB I draw 4 5, flop A23, I push, get called and the guy flushes on the river.
Tonight is Acescracked - MarkGreb is only 500 pts behind me so I need to take first again to widen the gap -
Next two games played this morning - $10 SNG out - $20 SNG - First - Bank now at $144.87 - Think I'll stop for now and pick it back up tonight -
WANTED - OBSOLETE GAMING CHIPS AND OTHER "STUFF" -
I pay cash via Paypal, PS transfers, or United States mail, for obsolete gaming chips - let me know what you have - ![]()
I am a collector of gaming memorabilia, specifically casino chips and tokens. About 7 years ago I joined the The Casino Chip and Gaming Token Collectors Club. I think there are about 7500 members worldwide, (with probably about 3000-3500 active) and for the most part and very good group of people -
So - I am always on the lookout for obsolete chips and tokens, if you have any you are interested in getting rid of, send me a message along with pics of what you have and asking price(s) - I'm not interested in any current chips (except Hard Rock) -
Visit my website @ chipsnstuff.com and you'll get a good idea of what I'm after -
Today is Monday, and as is with most Mondays, so far it sucks...
In order to get to where I am right now, we need to back up to Saturday. I decided to play some cards hoping to get warmed up for Saturday nights AcesCracked Leader Board IV game - Loss, Loss, Loss, Loss - WTF.....
The Leader Board IV game turned out to be just as bad when I went out first -
Movin' on to Sunday....Highlite was the $100,000 PS game at 3:30 EST - 18,000+ players, I finished 1400 something, in the money, a whopping 18 bucks or near there.
Scored another ten bucks from that game because I was the winner of the AcesCracked "last longer" bet, outlasting both plj1 and MarkGreb.
The rest of Sunday went downhill and soon my bankroll had gone from 150.00 on Friday night to 3 or 4 bucks Sunday night. (I guess I should add in that JR. was responsible for about 40.00 lost) So, I made a deposit of 50 bucks, registered for the next Leader Board IV game and called it a nite...
So now it's Monday, I woke up in a really shitty mood, and nearly three hours later I arrived at work, about 55 minutes late. Good thing I'm the boss.
PS bankroll is $43.37 - I decided to play a bit as it is kinda quiet here at the office this morning. I sit at a ten dollar SNG and finish 3rd. Bank now at $50.37
In another $10 SNG, I make one of my patented stupid moves and go out 5th -
WTF - I just can't get it going. Get on another and out again. So I stopped for awhile and did some real work - Back to the tables, another $10 SNG, played so tight I was squeaking just sitting here, end up taking first and $45.00...Bank now at $62.37
Already looking forward to the Saturday night AcesCracked game - This week, no play beforehand - and - I've decided that I will be the first to win the Leaderboard Championship twice in a row
Those guys and women are all good, but "I think I can, I think I can", and - going back to second place (or less) isn't an option...
The Chip Board Road to the World Series of Poker IV (Wednesday nights on PS) starts in just a couple weeks, looking forward to that one as well. The first three years we probably had 50 or more registered players, and I would guess we probably averaged 25-30 on any given Wednesday. The first two years I finished in the top 15 but didn't make the final table. Last year isn't worth discussing here
although I did win the final game of the year which included $230.00 and another limited edition chip...
